Extraction of optical constants in the terahertz band using material dispersion models

چکیده
This study proposes a method based on material dispersion models to computationally simulate terahertz (THz) time-domain spectroscopy signals. The proposed can accurately extract the refractive indices and extinction coefficients of optically thin samples high-absorption materials in THz band. was successfully used optical constants 470-μm-thick monocrystalline silicon sample eliminate all errors associated with Fabry–Pérot oscillation. When 16.29-mm-thick polycarbonate sample, our succeeded minimizing caused by low signal-to-noise ratio extracted constants.
